Hi! My name is Laura Krarup. I'm a graphic designer from Denmark, now back in Denmark from my stay i London. I work primarily with book publishing, cd-cover designs for rock groups (Oasis, The Scissor Sisters, who by the way wrote a song about me as a cadeau, and Blur to name a few) and fashion.

Here is a sample of my early work, a cover for a booklet with songs composed by my mother, Annemarie von Krarup. It shows my stunning talent for design at an early age: nine years old and hitting the big time (clicketty-click for lager picture).

And a couple of samples from my large production of clay, fimoler, klębersten sculptures and painted stones:

Besides my work as a graphic designer, I also find time to persue a career as a singer. Listen to samples of my work:

  • Backwards (by the Danish artist Lars H. U. G.).
  • A whole new World (from the Disney movie Alladin)
  • Lonely People by Nina Nielsen, in wich I sing background harmonies on the bridge (the bridge is a part of the song (ie. verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge and chorus), it does not mean that I stand on Waterloo Bridge and sing).
